As North Carolina’s first elective ultrasound center opening 20 years ago, we pride ourselves on guaranteeing the highest quality of services to our community.
The key element to this guarantee is that we are the only elective center in New Hanover, Onslow, or Wayne County who ensures that each and every one of our technicians is a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. We only allow true health professionals to use our medical equipment on you and your unborn baby, meaning NO ONE at any of our facilities will ever perform an ultrasound who has not achieved a college degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. As a result of this company standard, we wish to provide, not only elective ultrasounds, but Diagnostic ultrasounds/imaging as a more affordable Self-Pay option.
How does it work?
An order from your doctor or midwife is preferred; however, it is not required.
Your diagnostic ultrasound will be performed by one of our Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. This team combined, totals over 50 years of experience in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
After our Sonographer has obtained the appropriate images for the particular diagnostic ultrasound you are receiving, it will be sent to our Board Certified Radiologist for interpretation. A report from the Radiologist is generally available in 24-48 hours.
